Nat was born in Louisville, KY, and raised in Anchorage, KY. He was a boarding student at the Indian Springs Prep School, south of Birmingham, AL, graduating in 1978.The family moved to Hilton Head Island, SC in 1979. Summers were spent working as a title researcher/paralegal for various law firms and title companies in Beaufort, SC. His first year of collage was at Birmingham-Southern College and the balance at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, where he received a BS in Business Administration (Marketing) in 1983. On Hilton Head, he became an Account Executive for WHHR Radio and, in 1987, Assistantt Sales Manager for Island Events Magazine. Being an avid skier, he formed the Hilton Head Ski Club in 1986 and moved to Telluride, Colorado, in 1989 as Director of Advertising for Telluride Magazine and served as a Disc Jockey and Board Member for KOTO Radio. After becoming a very good snow skier, he moved back east as Regional Sales Manager for Advent Out-Of-Home Media (Outdoor Advertising) living and working in Savannah, GA; West Palm Beach, FL; Fort Myers, FL, and, in 1999, moved to Daytona Beach when the company acquired the local Bus Bench advertising company (Associated Marketing/Maverick Bench Media). Nat is active in amateur theatre (Shakespeare), enjoys skiing (water and snow), travel, cooking, golf, swimming, reading and the companionship of his Humane Society black mutt, Dixie. Nat is a Big Brother/Big Sister Program of SW Florida volunteer and was an active Member of the Board for the Telluride Commission for the Arts & Special Events. In 2006 Nat received his real estate license and worked as a Team Member for Aswin Suri at RE/MAX All Pro Realty until joining Bart Jones Real Estate in 2007 |
