History - 1992 - 2008
Bart Jones Real Estate was founded in 1993 by a teacher of real estate who saw a necessity for
peoples' real estate needs to be met by truly dedicated and well-trained professionals. Growth of
the company was slow, steady and deliberate as we did not hire unqualified real estate agents;
only those who were dependable, established residents of Volusia and Flagler counties and who were
successful in other fields (usually real-estate related). We did not have "floor time" for our
agents but insisted upon each agent's listings and customers being serviced by that agent - we did
not subscribe to the theory that simply getting a listing and putting it into MLS was "servicing
a listing". What we did depend upon was constant communication with our agents and customers through pagers,
cellular phones and computers. Bart's original license number
(1958) was 12,244. The office was closed Dec 12,
2008, when Bart & Dee Dee became the brokers for
